Triumph has lifted the lid on a new limited edition run of its popular Speed Twin model, which will borrow styling elements from the world of stripped-back cafe racers, particularly those early 1960s bikes that could be found tearing around the old North Circular.
Limited to just 800 units worldwide, the meaty 1200 RS model acts as the basis but builds in clip-on handlebars, a brown “bullet” seat with removable cowl, machined bar-end mirrors and an exclusive British racing-inspired colour scheme.
The rear pegs have been factory deleted, although they will come part and parcel of the sale if you do want to ride two-up at any point. Ribbed clutch and alternator cover badges, black head bolt covers and sculpted knee pads are also thrown into the mix to complete the look.
Let’s circle back to that paint job though, as the Competition Green and Aluminium Silver paintwork is paired with Aluminium Silver wheels and a colour-coded Competition Green headlight bowl.
Triumph adds an Empire Gold coachline to separate the Competition Green and Aluminium on the tank, while a “Cafe Racer Edition” graphic in Empire Gold lets everyone know you have 1 of just 800 machines released into the wild.

The base Speed Twin 1200 RS is already a bit of a weapon, sporting fully adjustable Marzocchi forks paired with Öhlins rear suspension, as well as twin Brembo Stylema calipers and 320mm discs to provide the stopping power.
Triumph’s Bonneville 1200 twin engine needs very little introduction either, as the high compression number produces 105hp at 7,750 rpm and will continue to deliver punchy performance all the way to the 8,000 rpm rev limit.
According to the British marque, the Cafe Racer Edition makes perfect sense, seeing as the marque’s parallel twin Bonneville engines became a “natural choice for cafe racers”, combining strong performance, balanced handling and unmistakable British character.
The new Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer will be available to order from £15,995, but customers will have to head to the Triumph website pretty sharpish. They are touted to sell out quick.
Bikes will be arriving in dealerships from March 2026 if you merely fancy a quick nose around.
