Smeg has launched a new range of Porsche branded appliances, as part of a new collaboration with the Stuttgart marque.
Yes, you can now get a Smeg fridge – or indeed toaster, kettle and coffee machine – finished in a selection of classic Porsche colours. And if your mates aren’t quite big enough anoraks to notice, they’re all emblazoned with the ‘PORSCHE’ script more typically found running down the flanks of a hot 911.

Kicking off the range is the ‘Fridge 917 Salzburg’. Based on Smeg’s 270-litre single-door fridge, it’s themed after Porsche’s 1970 Le Man’s winning 917 KH prototype racer, and is finished in the same bright red with ‘23’ roundels. Matte black trim on the Smeg logo, door handle and interior shelf edges complete the look.
It can be paired with Smeg’s bean-to-cup coffee machine, which has been given the same design treatment. If bright red isn’t your thing, both are also available in Carrera White and Shade Green. Each item is limited to 1,970 units, and bears a plaque identifying its uniqueness.

Porsche design themes – most notably black accents and custom fonts – have also been applied to Smeg’s toaster, kettle and blender, though these aren’t available in the Salzburg Red of the limited-run fridge and coffee machine, and are offered in just the white or green colour schemes.
All Porsche x Smeg appliances are available to order now at Porsche Design.
